Mortgage Loan Officer

Loan Officer is responsible for originating mortgage loans by meeting with potential borrowers to determine appropriate product, obtain proper documentation and follow through with the entire loan process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Originate quality conventional mortgage and home equity loans.
  • Manage customers through the entire loan process, from data collection and analysis through loan conclusion while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Collect and analyze information regarding customer income, assets, investments and debts to include multifaceted or complex borrowers.
  • Submits completed loan application and supporting documentation to the processing department.
  • Present the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products to determine the best option for each customer’s financial situation.
  • Set proper customer expectations and provide timely status updates to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Build network and community relationships, aggressively promoting Exponential Mortgage to real estate agents, builders, developers, financial planners and other referral sources

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience with a proven track record of success
  • An active NMLS license required
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with current lending regulations
  • Must be self-motivated and have an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • High integrity and confidentiality required.

Mortgage Lender Account Executive

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Mortgage Lender Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with mortgage brokers, real estate professionals, and lending partners to generate residential loan volume. The ideal candidate has a strong background in wholesale or correspondent lending and a passion for delivering exceptional service and value to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and expand a network of mortgage brokers, realtors, and lending partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct presentations, product demos, and training sessions for prospective and current partners.
  • Generate and manage a consistent pipeline of mortgage loan submissions.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and strategic partnerships.
  • Stay informed on current mortgage products, rates, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Educate clients on loan options, process changes, and new offerings.
  • Advise partners on best-fit solutions based on borrower profiles and market trends.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure timely and accurate file progression.
  • Maintain CRM records and produce activity reports for leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in mortgage lending, preferably in wholesale or correspondent channels.
  • Proven sales performance and territory growth track record.
  • Deep understanding of residential mortgage products and investor guidelines.
  • Familiarity with LOS, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
